Let's Get Started:
READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE FIRST.
Ensure you, your spouse, and children are truly ready for this commitment.
If you are, start with the following step below:
The first step in this process is to call or text me, so I can understand what you're looking for. I ask for this to be completed prior to a reservation. This part will include a detailed interview/discussion between us, in regards to getting to know you better, to educate you on our price/process and determine if our program is a good fit your lifestyle.
I can take some time to understand your needs and wants in a puppy and to make sure our bloodline is best for you. This gives me a chance to understand what type of dog would be best for your home. Some breeding pairs might create a more compatible puppy for you than others. We will need to know what type of events/activities/lifestyle you would like with your dog; such as- working ability, lifestyle and intentions to breed/show or if you want a companion family type dog. Be detailed about your family members, pets, currently at home, your experience with the Cane Corso/other similar breed you have owned and your home dynamics.
Your spouse should be aware and on board with your decision to get a Cane Corso puppy before reaching out to breeders.
The total purchase price starts at $2500-$5000, please keep this is mind before reaching out. An upfront deposit of $1500 is also required to reserve a puppy, and the remaining balance will be due at 8 weeks of age.
A female companion puppy will generally cost $3000, and a male companion puppy will generally cost $3500. These prices include ear cropping, and the entire list above.
A Full Rights/Breeding/Show/First & Second Pick/Working- Prospect will generally cost $5000, and will include ear cropping.
Our price DOES NOT CHANGE if you do not want ear cropping.
The sample contract can be found under "Puppy Reservations > Puppy Contracts".
APPOINTMENTS/VISITORS/MEET THE BREED:
We take visitors by appointment FOR SERIOUS BUYERS. This is not a meet and greet opportunity with a breed like this. I have a handful of dogs that will enjoy spending time with an invited stranger, and some that are not happy about a short visit from unknown strangers. This is not a kennel full of Labradors, and expecting that from a Corso is not the same. I do not allow people to interact/hold newborn puppies. Especially if the puppies are unvaccinated. During a visit or asking for a visit; if you are not purchasing a puppy from the current litter, we will not offer playtime/interactions with a litter that you are not buying from. This is an unnecessary breach of biosecurity/immune safety for puppies that are sold to other families. At a visitation, we do not allow people into the whelping room or our dog facility room. Do not expect to see the mother of a litter with newborn puppies. This is extremely hazardous for her stress, your safety and the biosecurity of the litter. If you wish to see a mother, please be prepared to get on the list 3-6 months in advanced before she is pregnant or raising a litter, or 2 months AFTER your puppy goes home if you did not get on the waiting list prior to the litter being born. This allows the mom to replenish her mind, body, weight, hormonal balance, emotional separation from her puppies and muscle tone.
This is not a petting zoo. Our number one priority is our dog's safety, having a stress free environment and bio-security. And YOUR safety!
If your visit is after a puppy is 8 weeks of age and they are vaccinated, then we do allow meet and greets with any puppy that may remain unspoken for after the rest of the litter goes home at 8-9 weeks of age. We do expect 90-100% of the puppies to be reserved/sold by the time puppies are two months old, and cannot guarantee availability without a reservation/deposit/signed contract.
fIf you are ready to move forward, or contingent on meeting us/our dogs, then we will take an appointment. Please be respectful of our time before you call, text or ask for a visit if you/spouse is not 100% committed to the idea and financial readiness of a dog/puppy. I am very informative and helpful over the phone, I enjoy talking about this breed and our program to others. I take several calls a day and if you are not ready for a dog for 1-3+ years, please reach out to me when you are 6-12 months away from being ready for a puppy, and ready for a reservation/questions. This allows me to prioritize my time and calls to families that are ready for a dog within 1-11 months. Allow me 24-48hrs to return your call/email/text.
We do not require a visit in person to be approve for a puppy or to move forward with a reservation. Majority of our clients live out of state/out of the country, and this entire process can be done over the phone.
KENNEL CONTRACT:
If you are serious about this commitment, we can move forward with a kennel contract. My contract will state if you'll receive pet rights (AKC Limited) or full AKC rights (Breeding/Showing Rights), gender preference, and your total cost. Health and temperament guarantees vary between litters.
The sample contract can be found under "Puppy Reservations > Puppy Contracts".
You will need to provide your full name, address, phone number and email for this step.
The contract will be emailed to you, with instructions on where to sign. It must be reviewed thoroughly.
You may email it back to me signed, or mail it to me via USPS/UPS or FedEx.
A deposit is required at the time of reservation. A deposit will consist of $1500 via cash, Zelle, Venmo or Cashier's Check and the remaining balance will be due at pick up.
Your reservation is not secured or guaranteed until the deposit and contract are BOTH sent.
General expectation of cost will be:
$3000 for an AKC Pet female with Ear Cropping Included, no breeding rights.
$3500 for an AKC Pet male with Ear Cropping Included, no breeding rights.
$5000 for full rights- breeding/showing prospect.
Price descriptions are further below.
POLICY/PROCEDURE/TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
My guarantees are non-transferable and the puppy cannot be rehomed to any other owner. I ask that the dog comes back to us if you are unable to care for or keep your dog at ANY age or situation. I do not tolerate abandonment to shelters, rescues or reselling your dog. I have a zero tolerance policy for breeding of a dog you did not purchase breeding rights to and will forfeit your dog back to us.
If you purchase a puppy with full rights, I will require one 1st pick puppy back and from the litter of our choice. You may be eligible for a discounted stud breeding from one of my males. All puppies sold with full rights will be under a co-ownership with me on their AKC paperwork until health testing results have been released, show/working titles have been earned, the dog has reached two years of age and I have received my puppy back.
I focus on proper type, structure, health, and temperament. We do not sale puppies based on color! Color is strictly cosmetic. We do produce all the colors, but we will NOT guarantee anyone that a certain color will be available. Choices for a companion or show prospect puppy should be based strictly on whether that puppy will be a good fit for that home.
Do not ask us for a white/straw/black & tan/blue & tan/merle colors as these are NOT ALLOWED/DISQUALIFIED TRAITS in the Cane Corso Breed Standard and we do not produce these colors.
Puppies are sold based off show picks and companion picks. This allows show and working quality puppies to be chosen first to homes that have reserved this. 1st and 2nd picks are reserved for families looking for full rights to show/breed or work/breed. The remaining picks are considered companion prospects and will be placed as that.
Clients on the waiting list will receive updates confirming pregnancies, birth announcements, and puppy updates. As the puppies grow, we make notes regarding development and personality of puppies. Clients who are required to respond to update emails/calls/text at the 1-week point in order to confirm they are interested in the said litter. Non-responsive clients will be placed to the next litter.
At 7-8 weeks of age, I will release temperament evaluations and conformation stack photos. I will pick the puppy for you. You will be matched to your selective puppy based off temperament, family compatibility, energy needs/levels and overall happiness of you and the dog together. You are guaranteed the gender you reserved, but I will pick the male or female you will be sent home with based on temperament.
If you're on the waiting list and a dam ends up not getting pregnant, or there are not enough puppies to fulfil your reservation, your deposit will be transferred to the next available litter. Prices, guarantees and colors may vary between litters. Deposits are non-refundable but may transfer to any litter.
After I have made your pick around 7-8 weeks of age, your puppy would be available to go home between ages 8-10 weeks. Ear cropping will be completed around 7-8 weeks of age.

EAR CROPPING:
Ear Cropping is included with all pet and show purchases.
Ear Cropping is completed by a medical professional with decades of experience, while the puppy is under sedation, and the puppy will be under the care of a fully staff medical team during and after the procedure. Ear Cropping surgery will be done at 8 weeks of age.
This has IMMENSE ear health benefits for a breed like the Cane Corso, Great Dane, and Doberman Pincher. This is not a cosmetic induced crop. This breed has been cropped and docked for over a thousand years, and still stands as part of the breed's ancient history and standard. As a preservation breeder and as someone who aims to fight for the integrity of the breed standard; we will continue to educate and continue this procedure within our program. Cropping restores a functional, upright ear to prevent ear infections, aid working abilities, hearing, prevents the risk of injuries, bacterial build up, removes the risk of hematomas, restores the dog to the correct standard, moisture build up and SIGNIFICANTLY reduces your daily/weekly inner ear maintenance.
New Owners will be expected to have some minor aftercare with the incision areas for 5-9 days after pick up. This will include keeping the outer/inner ear clean while the incision heals. The new owner will need to have the stitches removed by their primary local care vet 7-10 days after surgery at their own time/cost. Buyer will need to ensure the ear stands after the stitches come out with proper ear taping/ear posting methods either done at home or with their primary local vet.
Puppies will be sold with limited AKC registration which will state no breeding or showing rights.
If you are approved for full rights, this will include breeding and showing rights as a co-own. If full rights are purchased, you MUST health test hips, elbows, cardiac, patellar, NCL1 and DSRA. Dogs are not allowed to be bred before age two. This is to ensure we are preserving the breed approved dogs, and passing on the healthy genetics we have worked so hard on. We will hold you to being a reputable and ethical breeder. We will give priority to owners who will show or work their dogs prior to breeding.
Males sold on full rights are allowed to be bred back to MC females at $0 stud fees and one 1st pick puppy back from MC's choice of litter.
Females sold on full rights are expected to give MC one 1st pick puppy back of MnC's litter choice.
Puppies that are a result of the Seller's puppy back deals, going back to the Seller, on full rights, will remain with the Magical Creature's AKC Prefix and does not need to carry the co-owner's kennel name.
